My treasure
I have raised my hand really high into the sky
until the tip of my fingers touched the canvas of the univers.
And I have ripped some fabric off of it,
and I used it to craft a net out of it,
weaving some bits and pieces of myself into it.
And I threw it as far as I could
and dragged it across the seven seas.
Throughout the years, a lot of things got caught up in my net.
Some common fishes and shells.
Some trash.
But one day, a miracle.
I looked into my net and saw something bright and shiny.
The brightest and shiniest creature I have ever seen.
I knew it was a miracle for this creature was one of it's kind,
never leaving the cold depths of the ocean.
I was only able to catch it because for once in it's life
he wanted to see the sun.
But the sun,
it burns the eyes whe you had them closed for so long.
Did the sea rewarded me for my patience
or, did I stole him from her darkness?
And when he cries, he cries tiny oceans
and I'm afraid she might come and claim him back.
But I am nothing but a man
and my greed is no better than any other man's.
I don't care how angry the gods might be.
I will fight them.
I have found a treasure as old as time
and I am not giving it back.
I will be buried with this treasure
or die clinging to it.
Qu'ils viennent tous, ces dieux d'aujourd'hui et d'antan. Le seul auquel je me plie est celui qu'il y a dans mon coeur.
